So....awesome! They're so cute! But um...is that Asterix on France's side? Isn't the character from Brittannia (aka England?) At least that's what the movie Asterix and Obelisk: At her Majesty or whatever claimed.

Either way, this was awesome! :D

Asterix is just about the most French you get. Made by the French, about the Gauls, just... French, French, French. I thought this was well-known...

Ah really? I thought that initially too. Hmmm...that movie then must not have made France happy. Cause there's a big UK flag right behind them...Damn poor France! Getting their comic book characters stolen by the British. :(

I think the film was just about them travelling to Britain, not being British. Haven't seen it though.

Ah, I see. Good. At least I'm not crazy. We actually learned about Asterix and Obelisk in my Spanish class (ironic) because we were going to Barcelona and they showed us the comic in Catalan. :)
